I think it’s fair to say that we all enjoy consistency. There’s something really comforting about having a set routine and general structure. We like knowing where the best places to eat are, the best places to go out and so on. Routine can be good, but it can also get boring if things are not shaken up a bit. Of course, we can always try adding new things to our lives like new friends, activities or hobbies but that may not always suffice.
There may come a point in your life where you look around and realize you’re just bored. You just want a change in scenery and the only way to do that may be by moving somewhere new.

1.You Feel Antsy
It may not all happen suddenly one day, but over time you'll start feeling a building of antsiness. You find you can't sit still as well as you used to at your favorite place for lunch, or the gym you go to has started to make you feel like you need to run out of it and not in it. Either way, you start to feel the need to move more than you're able to whether it's physical or mental, you just feel stuck.
2.Things Start To Bore You
You generally just are feeling bored. You remember when you first moved this place, how exciting and new it was, but now you feel like you've met everyone you could and done everything there was to do. Taking in a movie or meeting up with friends are things you love to do, but suddenly, they seem more like a chore than a time to relax and have fun.
3.Your Home Stops Feeling Like Home
Now your home may or may not actually be too small, but regardless, it's going to feel like you can't move. You begin to find yourself yelling at your place for not being bigger, having better storage, being in better condition etc. You used to love this apartment but now all you can see is its flaws. This may be something a simple move can do, but sometimes it's our initial feelings of boredom that trigger our frustrations with our living conditions.
You no longer see your place as a safe, comfortable setting. Instead, it just annoys you.
4. Everything Feels Repetitive
Your daily routine is something you love and value. You appreciate knowing what to do or where to be and how to do it, but here, it's just one, big repetitive cycle. You start to resent doing the same thing weekly even if it's things you love. You're physically and mentally stuck in a rut and the only way out may be to try out a new city, town or state.
5.You Feel Irritated
You have an overall feeling of being extremely irritated. You would consider yourself a happy person, but boredom and frustration affects people in more ways than one, so it would make sense that you feel annoyed at almost everything. You suddenly can't seem to feel fully at peace with what you're doing and you find that even the tiniest things are beginning to really upset you: the neighbors are too loud, the apartment building isn't clean, your friends aren't exciting enough etc.
6.You’re Looking For More
Somewhere in your heart you know you truly want more than just the place that you're located. Perhaps, you've outgrown this place or you're in dire need of some adventure, but your gut is telling you that something isn't right. Your gut is usually never wrong.
You find yourself wondering what your life would be like somewhere else, if you could meet more interesting people or do more exciting things if you were just in a different location. You begin romanticizing he idea of anywhere except for where you are. You want more and your current setting isn't going to cut it anymore.
7. You Want A Challenge
Your boredom and frustration have all triggered feelings of not only wanting more but also wanting a challenge. You don't just want a different place, you want a different hurdle to jump over. Why move somewhere just to fall back into the same cycle you're trying to get away from? You want the challenge of starting over new, and creating a new life for yourself.
